Honoured for this-unexpected- award that came after three years of hard work on delicate, diverse and secretive issues of the maritime industry. Results have been confirmed in the real business environment and are revealing of HRM behaviours that lead to better performance of shipping companies. Happy and privileged for sharing it with Athina Syntychaki a then PhD candidate and a promising young scholar today.
