Στις 12 Μαρτίου 2019 πραγματοποιήθηκε στο κρουαζιερόπλοιο MV Celestyal Olympia το 4ο International Forum on Shipping Marketing and Management (IFOSMA) με θέμα “Creating value operating in culturally diverse environments”, ενώ ως κύριος στόχος του αποτέλεσε η ανάδειξη της σημασίας και του ρόλου της πολυπολιτισμικότητας των πληρωμάτων στη σύγχρονη ναυτιλιακή βιομηχανία. Μετά το τέλος του φόρουμ πραγματοποιήθηκε ο εορτασμός των 30 χρόνων του Τμήματος Ναυτιλιακών Σπουδών του Πανεπιστημίου Πειραιώς.
The 4th International Forum on Shipping Marketing and Management (IFOSMA) was hosted at MV Celestyal Olympia on March, 12 2019. This years’ theme was “Creating value operating in culturally diverse environments” and the main aim of the the forum was the identification of the role of multicultural crew in the modern shipping industry. At the same day, the 30-year celebration of the Department of Maritime Studies of University of Piraeus also took place.
